Trailer and Towing

Trailer towing capacities are restricted to the size of the vehicle and hitch towing the trailer. If you are not comfortable towing a trailer, we have delivery available.You are responsible for the safe transportation of equipment



Customer Responsibility:

Customer is responsible for rental equipment from delivery to return. Additional charges for may apply for missing or damaged items, including accessories or attachments. All items should be returned as you received them. Fill the fuel tank to avoid fuel charges. You will be charged for actual gallons used when equipment is returned not full. It is also the customers responsibility to keep equipment charged. The customer must take reasonable measures to protect equipment against damage. Martin's Equipment Rentals personnel will determine if the damage of any rental item(s) was caused by customer negligence or abuse. If Martin's Equipment Rentals personnel feels the damage was caused by negligence or abuse, the customer is solely responsible to bring the rental item(s) back to its original condition or pay for the item(s) if it is deemed by Martin's Equipment Rentals personnel to be damaged beyond repair.



Vandalism or Stolen Equipment:


It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Martin's Equipment Rentals and file a report within 24 hours of the occurrence. In the event of vandalism or equipment being stolen, the customer must also file a police report with the local authorities. A copy of the report needs to be provided to Martin's Equipment Rentals. 


Replacement Keys:


Replacement keys will be charged to the customer at $10.00 per key. 



Clean Equipment:


A cleaning fee will be charged to all items returned with concrete stains, mud, dirt, paint or other materials. There will be an additional charge for equipment requiring refurbishing.



Damage Waiver:

A percentage of the rental rate will automatically be charged for damage waiver. Damage waiver is 10%.



Privacy Policy:

Martin's Equipment Rentals, Inc. is committed to providing customers  with the best value products and services. We will not sell your information to any third party, and will exercise reasonable efforts to keep the information secure. Martin's Equipment Rentals., Inc. recognizes and respects your online privacy.





RENTAL

Rates:


Daily: 24 hrs

Weekly: 3 plus days is considered weekly rate

Monthly: 2 weeks, 1 day is considered monthly rate. (A monthly rental is based on any 28 consecutive day period)



Payment:


We require a valid California drivers license with all rentals. Payment is due before equipment is released to customer, unless customer has an open charge account with us. 



Metered Items:

Rates for rental items with hour meters are based on 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and 160 hours per month. We add additional rental charges for equipment used over 8 hours in a 24 hour period, over 40 hours in 5 days, and over 160 hours metered in a 4 week period.



Operators for Equipment:

We do not supply operators but may be able to recommend a local contractor. 



Pricing:

Prices are subject to change. Please call for price quotes. All rental charges are for time out, equipment being used or not. Equipment must be back in our yard by 5 p.m.



Delivery and Pick-up:

All rental equipment should be in a single location at the job-site for easy pickup for our driver or you may pickup/ return the rental equipment to our location. The charge for pickup/ delivery is based on the size of the order and distance we travel. Please call for quote.​​


Holidays:


We are closed New Years, Thanksgiving and Christmas.All Equipment returned after 9:00 A.M. the day after a holiday, will be charged an extra day. We charge for time out, whether equipment has been used or no. Charges are from the time equipment is picked-up till the time equipment is returned. 



RESERVATIONS:

Reservations are encouraged so that we are sure to have the items you need, when and where you need them. There is no charge to reserve your rental items; however, if you need to cancel or change your reservation, please let us known ASAP so we may release the equipment for other customers.
